Hi Everyone,
I told my husband I wanted to raise chicks and he went out and bought me 8. I call them my little nuggets. A few of them have names, Big Red, Henrietta, Minnie Driver, Lucy in the Sky with Feathers, and General Cluck (she's a bully).
So far, we are making out ok. The chicks are 3-4 weeks old and are growing like crazy. My 13 pound yorkie-mix Max loves the chicks. Max stares at them and wags his tail like crazy. He also beats up the cat if the cat goes anywhere near the chicks room.
We still don't have a finished chicken coop, my husband is trying to get it done before the chicks are too big for their inside coop.
I can't wait to see how this all turns out!
