That looks awesome what is that like 6'x3' . Probably about how big my chicky hotel will be. I don't have the best choices at my feed store either. Organiq is the brand its OK but they all seem to like it. Would be happier with a higher protein pellet but they get such a variety of goodies and constantly. They eat almost as good as we do sometimes. Lol. Nope they definitely are spoiled. now that spring is on the way its time to get on ordering the mealworms. Got a bit of good advice from @birdman55 about it and my mom has a small batch going, should be able to manage.

It is 6'x3'! You have a good idea. It is even parts coop and run, although now I think I should have made the coop a little smaller and the run a little bigger...
Mine are spoiled too! They have 150 lbs of feed!! I bought layer pellets last time on accident, didn't realize til I opened the bag and I only have one layer and one that should be any day now... then I went back to the store for a all flock crumble, got that. There is 100 lbs. Then a while back when I first got chicks and had ducks my other feed store gave me a wild bird seed, not sure if I paid for it or not cause I didn't want it... I called them and notified them and they said not to worry whether I did or didn't, they even offered a refund on the chance I did.

My birds love the bird seed and the crumble but they all seem to hate the pellets... I might crush them up.

@nayeli that's some monopoly luck right there with the seed. Last time I went in for dried mealworms I got told I wasn't charged the previous time. Still not so sure. But ya basically paid double for a bag. And yes live worms to raise. My chickens and ducks love the dried ones so much this seems like the next logical step.

Speaking of my ducks and worms, when I was digging out the extension for the pond all four would come darting out of the water at every shovel full of dirt for the big earthworms and then straight back to the water. Was the funniest thing. Now one of the girls has been doing this weird wing shaking thing. Looked it up and it appears they all do it from time to time.

Finally sunny again today. Got some more 2x4s this morning to rip. Maybe I'll get a few more frames up today. Busy afternoon lined up so we'll see.

Good to see you here Birdman your pictures of meal worms are definitely motivation and I always love looking at your birds they sure have some beautiful feathering. the Mallards were a smart addition to our flock glad we decided to get ducks they all have their own unique personalities, very distinct. And a pair of black Swedish in a few days to add to the mix should make things interesting. Nice job on the second coolerbator don't think I'm ready for that yet. Lol. I'll let the girls handle it for now.

Trying to knock out all my errands now. Hopefully have some more frame pictures by this afternoon.
