Whites built a box to keep his bator in to be able to keep it outside.. Not sure of the concept but you should know pretty quickly if it holds. I did all my planting today!!
nice. I haven't gotten to the garden yet this year aside from those rescue strawberries and the fruit trees.
Incubator is doing fine on the porch and it's cold and raining out. Maybe a couple heat sinks to be safe. This thing is a tank. Lol.

Just letting you know.. I just ordered a wafer thermostat and a fan.. I am on my way to build a coolerabator. Although, I love my nothingbutalightobator.. im tired of the temp fluctuations...
nice. I have no clue about wafers, and I just powered down the incubator tonight until it's ready to roll out sometime next month. Still need to replace the adaptor but I'll just run over to the grandmas for that, she's got 3 or 4 more. Picked up some more sand paper to polish the box all down. Still planning on staining it :)
The weather hasn't let up today, wet when I left for work in the dark this morning and wet in the dark this evening as I it here fat and happy from some home made pizza.

Broody hen is due to hatch in two days, it really is nice to be hands free on that. Filled the feed and water when I put her in changed the water and shook the food dispenser once, added some nutridrench to the water and just occasionally poke my head in the lid to make sure she's still doing OK, I've only seen her out twice since I out her in.

It's been a long weekend at work and Sundays always seem the longest, thank goodness it's my Friday. Gonna set it on cruise and see where I end up.

Onwards and upwards

ya there's a few monster droppings in there. And the bedding has been scratched around quite a bit. It's been a long time since I've had a calander weekend, I love cooking but but I love my days off too. Lol.

Hi, just wanted to say hi as I have been following your thread here for a while, but just joined BYC, so now subscribed. I have read it from the beginning but wouldn't allow myself to read more than 10 pages a day because it was so motivating to read everything you did (and accomplished) that it was good motivation for me. Sorry about your fingers and glad better now. Your pond for your ducks is really nice, and like the posts where you show us what you cook - so great! Congrats on everything.

We live on one acre and have five chickens - 4 hens and a rooster. Can't have any broody birds because can't have more; but sure like to read about them and see pictures of them. Last year our tomatoes grew huge plants but hardly got any tomatoes, don't know why. Plan to try again this year.
