My Weak Chick (Male)

Hi everyone,

My one month old chick has been having issue recently. In the past 2 days my chick has been feeling weak and hardly chirps; he does not move much. The other concern is that he has recently had some white in his eyes like he is blind. Now I am not sure if he is closing it or it is because he has a blind eye; first time raising chickens. If anyone can help that would be appreciated.

Sorry he does not have white eyes, he closes it often that is all.

Can you post some photos?
Is he eating/drinking?
What type of food/treats do you feed?
What does his poop look like?
Is he inside or outside?
Was he vaccinated for Marek's?
Any other symptoms, coughing, sneezing, runny eyes/nose, laying down with legs splayed, etc.?

Separate him so you can monitor him. Keep him warm and make sure he is staying hydrated.

First thing that comes to mind with his age, could be Coccidiosis, this can cause weakness, lethargy, loss of balance, going off feed, diarrhea with mucous or blood, treatment is with Corid which you can find at the feed store.
