I've noticed my welsummer pullets look to have white feathers coming in at around 4 to 5 months old. The white seems to be on the tips of the wing feathers and in spots on the rest of the body. I haven't seen anything like this on Google pictures, otherwise our welsummers look fairly normal and healthy. Any pictures of others welsummers or knowledge about this white feather trait would be very much appreciated!

We got them from a local feed store who orders from a hatchery.

Both of our welsummers have this white pattern. We have looked around at pictures of welsummers online and haven't seen anything like this. does that mean that our welsummers are mixed with something?

I know this is old, but I just got 2 from a private flock yesterday. The guy said, "Don't grab the ones with the white feathers, they're some other kind of Welsummer." Oops, I grabbed one and didn't notice until home. What ended up being the deal with yours? How were they? Dark egg layers? Good production?
