Just pulled 34 out of the hatcher yesterday 9-22-2011. Set 39 eggs. Just a little better than 87%.
These were 21 White Rocks and 13 Easter Eggers. The White Rocks are to help with my project. White (color) brown egg layer.

Couldn't keep the hens from dying.

I do have 1 hen left, she's in with my EE rooster.

What happened to them!?

Not really sure out of 9 hens I had four that grew to laying age. I was trying to give them a little time to lay then was going to start gathering eggs to set. By ther time I asready to start collecting eggs I was down to 2. Discouraged I gave them away, then when he (my dad) was ready to get rid of them I decided to get the only one left back. So now I'm going to try to raise some EE's off her. Her eggs are starting to be a little wrinkled, not all yet but quite a few. I'm going to try to set really soon.
