My white hen peaches has not laid an egg in 4 days

She is not broody, she is not egg bound, gets 14 hours of light, lots of live, interacts with another hen and 1 rooster. Has all the feed and water and love in the world. A week ago she was laying an egg every other day but now has stopped. She is not stressed or anything. Ideas?

Maybe she is about to molt. Or it might be too hot. I dont know about your weather, but my ladies eggs are suffering from this heat we have had.

She could be molting. Every week I have noticed a slight increase in white silkie feathers from both my roo and hen but not my black silkie shadow just yet. are they molting and if so what do i need to do?

I have not seen any signs of molting and she has broken from broodiness 2 weeks ago then 5 days later started laying but then stopped

It's more than likely the heat. You might not see eggs for months.

If she is molting, you could give her a little extra protein (for the feather regrowth) and just let nature run its course.

I think she is like 10-12 months old i got her from a silkie breeder at 6 weeks old sometimes in the middle of september of 2020
