Yes Rose she does. Luckily there is a store in town that offers classes on Tuesday nights. The ladies all meet there after work and it usually lasts for 3 hours.

Right now she is making a baby quilt for our upcoming grandaughter, pics coming soon of that one too.

Wow, Judy. Your quilt is magnificent.

Did you machine the quilting design or was that done by hand?

How wonderful your children and grandchildren will have beautiful heirlooms to carry throughout their lives and pass on to the future of your family.

Steve, your wife's quilt is beautiful. Do you have to help with cutting out blocks? Both Hope and Granny are doing cathedral windows quilts right now. Didn't think I ever get all the blocks those take cut out. Tell your better have I think her work in gorgeous.

This is Steve's wife ................thank you all for your heartfelt comments. To answer some of the questions....................

It took me a year to make it, because I took breaks from it, this is only my 2nd quilt for a bed, Jr has the first one. There are over 1500 pieces (I bought an Alro cutter and used it a lot) in the quilt and it fits Christopher's queen size bed, but will fit a King as well if he ever changes bed size.

The quilt is very large and was machined quilted by a local woman, I have not learned to hand quilt yet. I love to quilt, but hate to sew.....does that make sense to any of you???!!

I think it is wonderful that Opa cuts pieces for his wife and Granny, I never even thought of asking Steve, but now I will

Jude, your work is beautiful! What a great gift to your kids. Hope they know how precious the gift is! I have a friend that goes to Country Stitches in Lansing and takes lessons. She bought a very expensive sewing machine to help her with that fancy stitching. Put that on your want list!
