My Wonderful day at Forever Wild - PIC HEAVY!

Gosh brought a tear to my eye.... it is heartwarming to know that all those wonderful animals have or will get a caring home... I adore large cats... those look very happy and content... would love to see that place Debs..... errrrr you going to invite me over or what!

Congratulations on the horses--I had no idea you rode. Is the bay/buckskin in the photo one of yours? Do they have names?

Oh Debi.. I am sooo happy that you were able to visit.... What a wonderful idea your husband had and to be able to get soo close to the big cats .. I am sooo jealous.. I truly hope i am able to visit there place , they seem like such amazing folks and are doing an awesome thing for these creatures.. Thanks for the update and the pics... Oh and mucho congrats on the new equines.. You do know that we REQUIRE pics?

I've the opportunity twice to have mustangs. I love them!! Wild ones that were adopted, and then rescued, and then owned by someone, then I bought them. Rode them everywhere. My first mustang, a black one, I was able to throw my two kids up there with me (when I only had two boys) one in the front and one in the back and we could ride for hours. I used to ride that horse into town, and through the horse parade every year. One year I rode that horse in and out of town about 5 times. Its a 15 mile trip into town. That horse could run through the fields. He was fast and sure footed, and could run for miles. In the beginning he was afraid of the sprinklers in the fields. Jumped out into the middle of the highway. But he eventually learned to love those sprinklers and he could drink from them or just let it spray him for a nice cool off!
