My Wyandotte Eggs Won`t Hatch!!!

I am having the same troubles with my wyandottes. Of the 12 eggs only 3 have gone further into progression. THe other eggs were too porous for the them to go any further. My Australorps eggs are all growing!!!!

I have heard that the smaller eggs need more humidity as well, but I haven't tested that to be true as my humidity is at 45%.

I will try again next year. Hopefully I have at least one hen and one rooster from the 3 Wyandottes that I have. Ho Hum

I would get the accurite, see what temp it actually has been, then decide to chuck the eggs...

stupid crummy thermometer...I use the one from Walmart and I have good hatches, even in my cooler-bator, but all of mine have fans...I'd probably get one if you are planning on doing this more than once or twice...so much easier for both temp and humidity. Good luck!

Yea Im hoping that they will miraculously hatch tonight before i take them out. that would be weeks of work and anticipation all for nothing.it would also waste well over 30 eggs... ugh...

Ok thank you. I have never hatched before. we normally just get day olds from mcmurray and welp. do you think that just using a broody hen would be best? we have some of those

That would be the best thing to do as I'm having problems also. I will go hen looking and find one for my next hatching. I did 12 eggs and as of lock down Saturday night they were moving. My 21st day was last night. I did water check this morning but no movement.. no pips so the next time I'll avoid the stress and get me a good old hen to do the job for me.
