My young chicken seems sick..... green poop, lethargic

Try to drip a little veg. oil in her beak. There is also a way to massage the crop to help loosen things up. I'm not sure how but, I'm sure if you do a search you can find a post with the details.

How is your hen today?
i just went thru a bout of impacted crop with one of mine, and was able to get thru it by giving her just a very small amount of plain yogurt with a bit of olive oil in it and massaging her crop in a downward to backward motion for about 15 minutes every couple of hours with acess to water with electrolytes and a bit of apple cider vinegar in it, and no food for 24 hours. I had to take away her free choice grit and oyster shell because she wanted to pig out on that, maybe her body was telling her that would help, but she felt like she had a crop full of rocks! It finally softened up and reintroduced small amounts of food over a period of a couple of days. She is doing well, although her crop is very loose (it hangs a bit low) from being impacted so she is gettin nothing but her crumbles for now, (no treats, etc) The other girls are not too happy about that!

I couldn't really find anything other than the surgery to do for it, and I was not brave enough to do that, and the local vets don't operate on "chickens" although I suppose if I had an extra 1k I could find an aviary vet who would operate on my girl, but I have enough of my own medical bills to pay!

I wasn't keen on the getting her to vomit as there was no way she was going to be able to vomit out the mass that was in her crop and I was worried about her aspirating fluid into her lungs. In massaging her, you can almost feel the contents are so tight they are unable to get past the blockage to empty normally and need a little mechanical help for a time.
I am not a vet and I don't know if this was correct or not, but so far she is doing well.

I hope your girl is OK.

Thanks guys. I tried the soaked bread in oil, massaging the crop.... It just didn't help. I am not sure it was an impacted crop. I just do not know. I am so sad. This is aweful.

now this just happened to me. She woke up today day 3 like this I had no idea what was going on. It was my only day home in the last three and I was ready to nurse her back to health. I went for her in the morning and in my hand she slipped away as soon as I picked her up and turned her over to see her crop. It was huge and dark. Day one I only noticed in the evening that she was not wanting to move. I wish I could of helped her. My favrolle.
