My young rooster ate a thumbtack!!

Hello Everyone! My 4 month old rooster swallowed a bent thumbtack before I could get him to spit it out. Is there anything anyone can recommend doing or should I take him to the vet???

If you can take him to a vet that may help.
There is not a lot you can do yourself, if it was bent and the point was flattened you may get lucky and he will pass it.

@Wyorp Rock thank you for replying! I have been watching him like a hawk and have seen no signs of any abnormal behavior or symptoms. I'm hoping it will pass through!
