Mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG)

The only way to know.for.sure.would be to have a bird tested if one dies. Mine occasionally sneeze now but haven't had symptoms.hit as hard as the first time.
Yeah she is my mildest mannered chick and gets picked on by others (only 4 now 3 in flock) they've all been together since they were born. So I have a feeling she's just more sensitive than the others.

Very good article. Have not made any tinctures but wouldn't mind too try. I do add oregano extract to their water getting closer to fall and winter months. Being able to prevent it is the key like the article says. I would also get a prescription from your vet of tylan just to have on hand if it gets worse.
The oregano extract sounds interesting. Is this oregano oil? Can you buy any strength or brand?

Tylan need a prescription tried to order online can't find one with out a prescription the water Soluble stuff not the injectable. Unless you know some other links I can buy from? Besides ebay and ordering from Bulgaria
You can order powder which goes in water at places like this.

Injectable Tylan50 or 200 can be used as well. I think one of these would be better overall, IF you can find it. Either one of the injectables can be administered orally 3 times a day for 5 days. Giving a direct dose ensures the bird is getting medicated properly instead of relying on them drinking medicated water throughout the day.

Sneezing, laying around and distant from others in flock for day or two.
It's just an occasional sneeze not constant at all.
Please do not rehome any more birds...ever.
It is not right to rehome birds when you have disease in your flock.

Thanks for the link. I find it strange that certain sites want a prescription for the water Soluble stuff. The tylan 200 is at my local tractor supply. I only used the water soluble stuff that I got from a family member. It's good to know that the injectable solution works just as well orally thank you. Stalking up on naturals and certain antibiotics never know how hard they will be to come by.
