We just ordered 3 from MPC and I am a little disappointed. One was DOA. We called and they refunded our money for the dead chic. The other 2 ate happy and healthy at day 3. MPC said they don't use heat packs when shipping to warm areas. We live in ATL and are currently in a cold snap with temps in the 50s at night. I feel that they should use heat packs all Spring long, or check the local forecast for the delivery location. Despite this oversight by the company (its not always hot in the South), we felt confident enough (and we really want a Spangled Hamburg) to order from them again. This time we picked a Summer ship date. I now believe that any chics shipped should be shipped in the Summer to ensure fewer temperature issues for the little ones.
