They aren't the cheapest, due to low minimums, but I found their customer service to be excellent. I got almost all my chickens from them (the others are rescues) and I am very pleased. They were extremely informative, helpful and friendly. I would recommend them. Also, like Deb said, I am unaware of any affiliation with Meyer's. I have never heard this and in fact get the opposite impression.

I bought 25 assorted large fowl pullet chicks for $49.95, shipping included. Yes, 25 is a lot, but I have a surfeit of roosters and needed to get more ladies into the flock.

I received 27 chicks. Two were very weak and expired that day, so I didn't end up with 27, and I think one of the rest is a cockerel, but that's pretty darned good.​

Well I tried that at a local Rural King, all straight runs, breeds mixed in together, and finally, not sure the chicks were the breeds that were listed! I have bought stuff from MPC, and that is the place I am buying my next birds from.....I bought from McMurray's, was very satisfied with my birds, Red & Black stars were great, Dominiques almost looked like half of them were bantams, but great customer service, I just do not want to buy 25 birds again.... MPC great place to get stuff, and if you sign up with them, they email you specials!
