Mysterious leg injury on week old chick

I’m at a bit of a loss on what to do here. We got our chick order about a week ago and I noticed a chick not doing great today. After further inspection I noticed it walking funny so I took a look at the legs and it became pretty apparent what the issue was. There’s a bend in his upper leg. At first I thought it was broken, but it seems like it might be a deformity. I can’t get pictures quite yet but I need advice on how to handle this since I assume it’ll only get worse if I don’t do something now. I’m going to separate him out(looking for spare stuff right now but he is safe and already away from other chicks), would it be a good idea to put another similar sized chick in there so he has a friend or would that be a no? I plan to mix honey and electrolyte powder in with his water, that’s good right? Also, he’s been on gamebird grower up to this point, so should I take him off that and put him on regular chick grower, or should I keep feeding that?(he is a silver spangled hamburg chick) I would like to avoid culling him because he seems to be eating, drinking, and generally seems energetic. I’ve never dealt with something like this so I just wanna make sure everything is correct.

Without seeing a picture of the bend in the leg, it might be slipped tendon which is common in new chicks. Here's what to do. https://www.chickenheavenonearth.co...u-can-do-to-help-chicken-heaven-on-earth.html

This shouldn't hurt if it's not the problem.
It was definitely something wrong with the bone. Unfortunately I’ve just been informed that the chick sadly passed away. He was also smaller than the other hamburgs at this point and his body was a bit short, I didn’t think much of it but after comparing him to another chick from the same batch I think there were severe birth deformities, and probably other issues I couldn’t see. I don’t think this was the hatcheries fault, I didn’t even notice Until now so I don’t think they noticed either.
