Mysteriously Disappearing Eggs + No Hatches

No, we do not see the veins in the egg, however i thought maybe the yolk was pushing the hatchling towards the airsac since it just looked black. However, we did candle dead eggs before and this does NOT look like a dead egg.

ONE MORE FANTASTIC UPDATE! :D Two eggs are peeping loudly and it looks like one might start pipping tonight. We are all so excited and I pretty much curled into a ball when I heard it because it was so gosh dang cute!

Not that this has happened but will a power outage kill eggs? Also, will a loud noise kill them too? I want to make sure that if it does kill them, we can prevent it. I also cannot wait for pictures either!

Edit: Sorry, I am on a phone now so if there are any spelling mistakes blame the phone :p

Power outage might if you are incubating and the temp drops too low for too long...

As for loud noises, unless we are talking explosions it the near vicinity where the sound shock waves are strong enough to say break glass I wouldn't worry...

Haha, okay. If any power goes out then I will have to use my own body heat. That's gonna be weird, walking around with eggs in my shirt. Lol

Again I have a question. How often or common is it that you need to assist the hatchling? I'm worried if I get one since this is my first ever hatch and I am afraid I'll hurt the chick more than I'll help it!

While writing this I heard VERY loud cheeps from the incubator! So cute!
