I was given a baby chick by someone who could not care for it, and I'm wondering what kind of chicken it could be. She/he appears to have a pea comb. In this picture, she/he is about 2.5 weeks old. She is feathering super slow, and her wings are short (??), unlike the standard size chickens I've raised. I'm assuming she's a bantam because of her size and slowness of growth. She's still covered in fuzz, and the brown stripe on her back is also fuzz. She's just starting to get little tail feathers at 3 weeks old. No wattles yet. I'm assuming she's a mix of something, but I'd love some expert opinions!

Comb looks to be a pea comb. I'll add another picture. No feathers on legs. Legs are clean as can be.

She is from questionable beginnings that I was unable to confirm, but I believe it to be a very disorganized street-type flea market. Location has had some chicken fighting problems in the past, but doubtful this one was part of that group since she's a bantam. I was contacted by someone whose brother dumped two chicks on her doorstep and she couldn't care for them properly. One had died and she was desperate that this one not have the same fate.

I'll add a few more pictures.

Here's my mystery chicken. I think she's definitely a gamefowl, but was wondering if she is big enough for anyone to tell me what breed she may be. Her comb now looks to be a rose comb, and not a pea comb. She's still small but unsure if she's a bantam or if game birds are just small....

Any thoughts on my little bird?
Age is about 7+ weeks in the pictures below.

She is affectionate and snuggles when I hold her.

Do you think so?? God, I hope not. She is nearly 8 weeks old and has not crowed yet. Her comb is still pretty small for her age and it's not red and she doesn't have wattles.
Ack, I hope she's not a rooster.
