Mystery Bird......

    We bought this little mystery at TSC a week before Easter. He's got a ton of feathers on his feet, very long legs and neck, small flat cone, and odd coloring. We bought him out of the bantam bin, and had excellent luck with purebreds from TSC, so I'm assuming he's a purebred......something. He should be about 11 weeks old, if he is in fact a rooster [​IMG]

    Looks like a Brahma with the pea comb, but not sure on the color.

    He's a good looking roo!

    I kept saying Brahma too, but never seen any pictures of one with this coloring. He's a mystery to us, and folks always say..."WHAT is that?" [​IMG]

    It might be a dark brahma roo. They dont always get the right color until they are older.

    I had to google dark brahma, but I have to agree he looks like one.
