Mystery breed?

The chipmunk stripes might be part Speckled Sussex
Thank you for your input! :D Meyer doesn't carry hybrids other than Olive Eggers and Sage Gems, though. :)
Oh yeah! I didn't see those at first. I was just looking at the body conformation, that kinda long neck, and leg feathers. Huh... Do Speckled Sussex have muffs and beards? Someone suggested that. I can't tell the differences in combs when they're that little yet.
Sussex are clean-faced and clean-legged. :) As a matter of fact, I have one right in my brooder right now, which I'll attach a picture of. :love

No worries, it's difficult determining comb type without actually seeing the baby in person. ;)

Do they carry bantam sized Easter Eggers or Olive Eggers, by chance?
Yes to both. :) I actually picked out 5 bantam EEs out of the bin, too....little cutie pies! :love

The blue chick is an Orpington, leg color is wrong for an Andalusian.
Just checked Meyers bantam breeds and none match up with this chick.
Funny enough, another member recently posted a pic of a roo she got as a fry pan special. Looked a lot like a rare breed coloration they don't carry. I guess weird things can happen like that.

Maybe that other member’s chick and @Alexandra33’s chick are from a new cross that Meyers is working on. :idunno

Very true, I wasn't thinking about that. :)

Exactly. It almost reminds me of a mixed breed...which is why I was thinking Sage Gem might possibly be the closest option, since they don't exactly give a breed description other than resulting egg color? Could be wrong. I spotted one just like my little munchkin in the bin, only light and silvery.

Interesting! :pop

Very good possibility. :D

Hers was full grown, looked just like a Blue Birchen Marans. A lot of people insisted it couldn't be because it wasn't offered on their site. I even emailed a BBM breeder a link to the picture of her roo because it was driving me crazy. He said it did indeed look like a BBM. Who knows...

Meyer Hatchery's website does not make mention about where their hatching eggs are sourced from. Cackle Hatchery states that theirs are sourced from farms they own and also farms they don't. My theory is sometimes there could egg mix ups that happen at the farms, and they sometimes end up with something they don't advertise. Maybe those babies go into the bargain bins with the overstocks. So, maybe you do have a breed they don't sell.

Congrats on your new gorgeous little feathered babies, Alex! :hugs :highfive: They are both so beautiful! Like the others, I have no clue as to what your first one is. :p But she is adorable. :love And the other one is probably a Lavender Orpington; those are expensive 'little' birds!
Awwww, thanks so very much, friend! :hugs:celebrate I KNEW my fellow chicken crazies would adore their irresistible widdle faces. :love

It's the cutest mystery I've ever ended up with, for sure! :love

Orpingtons (with the exception of Buff) are quite expensive at Meyer! :th
What great finds! They're adorable!!! The one looks like a Blue Orpington chick to me. No clue on the other? Can't wait to see how it feathers out. I bet the Golden Cukoo is super cute too.
I can't help but agree! :D
Glad I've got so many votes for Orpington on that one. :love As far as the other, I'll update as it grows. :D

Here's a pic of the Golden Cuckoo cutie:
