Last night around 9pm while on my way to feed and water everyone I saw a set of eyes in the woods. I have a nifty spotlight/flashlight headband that I wear when I go out after dark. I could definately tell that they were not chicken eyes glowing at me. As I got closer I could tell that it was a cat sitting on a tree stump on the opposite side of the chicken coop. At first I thought that it was just a large cat but it was the largest cat that I have ever seen. When I got closer to it the cat ran off to another tree stump and watched as I fed and watered the chickens and bunnies. I tried to get a better look at it but it was very dark even with my headlight. This extra large cat looked like it was gray striped. I looked at pictures online of bobcats and they don't seem to have the same color pattern as this mystery cat. Any ideas of what might be roaming around in the Georgia backwoods??
