Could it have Chantecler in it? Looks kind of simular to a Chantecler.
They didn't list barred rock, and I had an egg labeled barred rock. The chick quit before hatch, turned out to be an Australorp chick. I also had a couple Barnevelder eggs that quit earlier then the other egg.They don't list that breed.
I would chalk it up to an adorable mix that may never be fully known.
