She isn’t a Maran, lol. They have feathered legs and just...look different.

And no copper and the feet are different colors. But same face and black coloring

She’s black with a slight bluish green tint to her

That beetle-green tint is called "top color." Both Australorps and JG's have it. It's SO pretty in the sunshine!

I do think mine is a midnight majesty maran. That’s what I bought her as and she matches the pictures on the hatchery site well .

Makes sense - they're both black crosses bred for good egg production - so either way, you've got a good biddie! And the bonus with the Marans is the darker eggs. Those are SO pretty!
