Mystery Chicken

This is "Chicken" as my 4 year old nephew insisted on calling her. She was our neighbors chicken and there were 5 of them that kept coming to my horse barn. After awhile only Chicken was left and she soon started staying at our house full time, the neighbors also moved. She is over a year because that is how long I have been feeding her. She lays eggs for us sometimes and went broody at the beginning of the summer. At that time we had no other chickens. I fell in love with her and got her some friends and she loves them. Though she still sleeps in the pine tree in front of the barn and refuses to be caught or go in the coop. She is the guardian of the group as she is very noisy when a threat comes around.

Can anyone make a guess on what our girl might be? She does have greenish legs and her eggs and white.

I'm thinking Speckled Serama? Or a Serama/Speckled Sussex mix? She looks a lot like my SS, but more like a Serama.

She looks like a speckled sussex, but they have white legs and lay light brown eggs. So I dunno, but she sure is pretty! Good luck finding out and how nice of you to take her in, then buy her friends

Chicken is much smaller than my buff orpington, about the size of my polish roo who is 19 weeks. She is on smaller side, but were glad we have this oddball!

then shes a bantam. sussex do come in bantams and so do oegb. in that pic her legs look white lol but depending on were she came from she maybe pure or a mix breed
