Mystery Chickens

Hello all,

My family and I are new to chicken-raising. We ended up homing 5 chicks hatched by my elder daughter's preschool class. The chicks are about two and a half months old now and we're loving having them so far, but we would like to know exactly what we have. We were told they would be Rhode Island Reds and Black Australorps. We have one Red and 4 questionmarks, lol. I think 2 are RIR mutts, or "barnyard" variety, but 2 of the others leave me totally mystified. What is our all black one? What is our brown and gray feather-footed beauty? Any help you can offer is most appreciated.

The one with the muffs is possibly an Easter Egger mix.

Feathered legs with the muffs is a favorolle mix, sorry if I misspelled that, the hairdo looks to be a polish mix, and the red looks to be a RIR mix.

It does look like your brown and grey one with the muffs is an easter egger mix.

I believe they're all barnyard mixes. And I agree that the big red one looks like a cockerel. It's a very pretty flock you have
