We picked up a couple chickens from a local auction and are trying to guess they might be. Here are pictures of them. They have very little comb. The black one has a black face and shanks but white skin. The grayish one has some very faint barring that doesn't show in the pictures. They are young the faces are just starting to redden up a little bit now (Most the pictures are from a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't get good ones tonight.) They don't seem to have grown much since we got them. I think they might be some sort of bantam cross. There were what appeared to be matching cockerels to each one with them but we just got the ones we thought were pullets. When we saw them from a distance at the auction I thought that they might be a leghorn cross of some sort, but the lack of comb makes me think not.
