First off is my little chipmunk chick. He is very cute and has an almost greenish tint to his legs.

Heres a pic that shows off the chipmunk stripes on his back.

Next is my random black & white chick. He has white on his face near his eyes, white on the tips of his wings, and a white rump. He has almost all black legs.

The second one has clean legs so not a cochin. The first one looked like an EE to me too, but the guy at the feedstore kept telling me he was a barred rock, lol.

EEs generally have green legs. The first looks a lot like my Welsummer chicks, but there are several other breeds with very similar characteristics at that age. The second may be a black australorp, it has the black legs & beak and single comb.

Klf73, that was the one characteristic that was making me wonder about being an EE. I was thinking maybe it was a cross. The guy that runs the feedstore "hatches his own". Thats why he was so adamant that that chipmunk was a BR, because he was hatched by a BR. I think one of his other hens slipped that egg in, lol.

I think the first one is a black-breasted red game. There are quite a few birds that start with that wild chick type. But single comb and green legs are what bbr games have.

The second might be a barred rock, don't see the white spot on top of the head. Not sure if all barred rocks have that though.

I agree, second doesn't look like a BR.
If the second one is pure my guess would be Jersey Giant or Black Australorp, which you can tell the difference as they mature, the JG will have yellow bottoms of feet and the Australorps would be white on the bottom but sometimes do look yellowish in chicks.
