We ordered a group of Partridge Rock pullets from a hatchery who shall remain nameless ... what we got was mixed box of unidentified chickens. They refunded the order promptly, but don't offer any help with the identification.

Can anyone offer suggestions as to what these are? They appear to be standard/large size chickens, not bantams.

The one with the feathered legs looks like a cochin..buff, perhaps.

The bluish one in the first pic, first thread looks like it might be a blue andalusian.

Wow, for wanting partridge rocks, you sure did get a mixed bag...but the are absolutely adorable. I hope someone else can help some more :)

Once we got over the initial disappointment of not getting our rocks, I'm having fun watching them change and guessing what they might be. This is my first batch of chicks - quite an introduction to chick rearing. We had buyers for some partridge rocks, but hard to sell/trade when I don't know what we have.

Most of their wing feathers are coming in white - does that mean they are going to be white chickens? Or do baby wings change colors?

I'm no expert but, I was going to guess bramahs for the fuzzy foots also, the first pic looks like a white rock in the foreground, the next set look possibly like wyandottes...hope you get more help, boy oh boy, it's like christmas, and the waiting is the hardest part. I had a mystery chick and it drove me nuts that she didn't look the the pictures of her breed, turned out to be something else!
