Mystery cockerel...what could he be?

I googled Dark Cornish and that's a great guess too!
I'll never know for sure exactly what breed he is, but it's fun trying to figure it out!

Yep...blue laced red wyandotte looks like another possibility!
He doesn't have much in the way of lacing, but his big boy feathers are still filling in.

I would say cotnish. Mine have combs like him. Is he a decent weight?

Wyandottes have rose combs.

He is Cornish.

I'd say he is a pretty good weight. He's larger than all the girls at this point. It's funny cuz he was the runt chick for the longest time!

Hatchery DC vary in color greatly. I have seen super red DC. Not common though.

Here he is scratching in the peanut hay. You can see he's quite dark underneath.
I'm starting to lean towards Dark Cornish myself now the more Cornish rooster pics I look at.
How are Cornish roosters' temperaments?

I've only personally been around a few, but the ones I've been around are very sweet.
