Mystery disease help

Thank you so much for the update!
This sounds promising - I hope she continues to improve. You are doing well in taking extra steps to save her.

I can see where the crop would empty slowly with her being "blocked". Chickens don't have a gag reflex and can't really vomit, but if things are backing up, liquids can be pushed back up which can look like vomit or spitting up. I'm glad the poop is finally looking a bit better. Hopefully she won't develop a sour crop in the process. I'm sure your vet has advised you on her care, but I would think that plenty of water would be in order (this helps with crops too) and see that she has a source of grit free choice (crushed granite) if you are keeping her housed indoors to administer care.
Her mouth still smells normal, not sour, thank goodness. She is taking the medicine in water, and via a syringe as well to make sure she gets at least 1 tablet a day worth of it. These birds tend to drink a LOT because the gout dehydrates them so bad, so she does get plenty of water.

She was inside but today she was allowed to go out for part of the afternoon when the sun was out. If it is warm tomorrow, she can go out again. I don't want her to get chilled with her body so frail and she can't be out if it is cold, windy, or wet. I think foraging some is really good for her and seeing the other chickens can only be a good thing, so that's why I want to get her outside as much as possible.
