MYSTERY!! EGG!!! Could it be........?

If you hatch it and it jut happens to be an owl, who can blaim you;) you could feed it alot of differant things like store bought meat(liver, chicken, rabbits even) it won't touch your animals if you feed it and have had it since hatch. I so would hatch the egg:)

Around here, it would go in the incubator.

There might be a surprise later.

If I were you I would hatch it. That would be an amazing experience!! I'm sure you can find lots of ways to feed it on the internet. GO FOR IT!!

Wait...Do barn owls even at chickens? I always thought it was the larger varieties that did.
But I would incubate it! This is kind of funny that I found this, I watched Fly Away Home this morning. Lol

From what I was reading earlier, they eat chicks and other small animals.. But nothing said full grown chickens.. They are really good for keeping mice and other rodent problems down..

Okay, first off, it is illegal to possess wild bird eggs of any sort without proper permits, and secondly, there is an enormous amount of work that goes into raising a baby owl. I know everybody gets those fuzzy feelings when they think of how cool it would be to hatch a "Harry Potter" bird, but unless you have permits and a great deal of education and commitment to go along with those fuzzy feelings, you need to back away from the eggs and not even think about incubating them. It's very hard for some to let common sense prevail over the initial "Awwww!" response, I know, but it's very important to know your limits and do what's right.

Sorry if I'm too blunt, but there were way too many, "Go for it and hatch it!" posts on here for comfort. This is not like hatching a chicken, and shouldn't be treated so lightly.
