We found it around outside, it is silver/grey/black and has fur/feathers on its legs- there are also these little brown patches coming in on its chest area- any idea?

Is the skin dark or pinkish/whitish? If the skin is "normally" colored, I'd guess cochin???

not enough foot feathers for cochin...maybe brahma...or a mix??

what type of comb...its possible that its just a mix of some sort

being that it DOES have a little feathers on the legs I would have to lean into the 'cochin mix' territory on this one.

The skin is normal colored as far as we can tell is a normal skin color for a chicken

It doesnt really have a comb yet because its so little- we guess about 3 or 4 weeks old.

The little brown on its neck sort of looks like it could turn into a mix of this kind of Cochin, but its hard to say:



Would a Cochin chick need more feathers on its legs at this stage depending on what it was mixed with?

I'd say a mix. Not enough leg feathering to be a Cochin.
