This chick will be 14 weeks on Tuesday. I got her with a batch of SR Assorted Bantams from TSC. I can not for the life of me find a bantam on Hoover's site that looks anything like her.

Cornish Bantam? Aren't cornishes usually 'meat' birds? Not doubting you, just confused, lol.White Laced Red Cornish Bantam. I'm not sure Hoover's carries them, but they might order from Ideal.
Well they are not usually the best layers. I think standard cornish are bred for meat, but I don't think the bantams would be. The famous Cornish Cross meat birds are standard cornishes crossed with White Plymouth rocks and further bred for fast growth and meat production, at least that is what I have understood.Cornish Bantam? The Cornish Cross is the one one I was thinking of. I can only find pictures of the standard sized as adults, but they are very pretty.
