I don't think he's a Cream Legbar....leg and plumage color seems off, and there's a lack of crest. Is it possible your boy is a Dixie Rainbow? Or another one of those dual purpose hybrid breeds? (please forgive my lack of knowledge in this area, I've absolutely no experience with these birds)

While most Cream Legbar hens sport a crest, it is quite common for the roosters of this breed to lack one. Cream Legbars are a hybrid breed, hence the the variation in whether or not a bird has a crest. A mature rooster will look different than a young cockerel of the same breed, because he hasn't developed his adult saddle or hackle feathers yet. @jesskuh13, you can post update pictures in a week or so to confirm how he is feathering out. Also, which hatchery did you get him from? So we can check which breeds they have.
