I would get some blue infection spray.
You just spray it onto the leg.
We use it on farms etc.

still eating and drinking. seems less shocked but reactions can be delayed. using antibiotic wound powder.

I am sorry that I am not experienced with wound care or, for that matter, foxes.

I liked the post which mentions the one legged chicken having learnt to wait and watch another chicken scratching and then steal the goodies

I mainly wanted to wish her and you all the best and have everything crossed for a good outcome

thank you. i am amazed she hasn't died of infection as she was caked in poop when i found her. she is however doing fine. learning to balance and looking perkey.

she is using her wings for extra balance. she is being spoilt with all sorts of goodies.
