I meant to say the value of having a longer hackle feather is that they can tie several flies from just one feather. So a cape with longer hackles is more valuable than a short one… Considering the feather quality is equal.It think it's the barred pattern. Got lots of high quality feathering on my birds, Silky smooth, Shiny, & strong. Feathering is one of my main focuses actually.
