She also believes combs regrow from frostbite:lau. She also said it depends on the breed of chicken:gig.

I need evidence, or I won't believe it. All my birds that have had frostbitten combs in the past never regrew.

One of my younger Malay hens is having an issue with her crop, & is severely underweight. Her crop I don't think is sour, her breath smells normal, but had lots of liquid that came up like sour crop. Debating whether to treat like sour crop, or not.

Get this, my Aunt us trying to get me to switch to a lower protien feed, cuz I free range. For some reason she believes feeding 20% protein feed, in addition to free ranging is harmful to them internally.
This is false, it's actually beneficial if they're not getting what they need during free range including certain vitamins, protien, or other essential nutrients that may not be available.

The only low protien stuff in this area is Layer feed. I don't do layer, nor am I lowering their protien for no reason.
Is the layer feed less expensive than what you’re using?
If it is, that might be why she thinks so.

The feed I'm still buying is cheaper then what I was paying for in Michigan. Taxes are less.
I was spending around $65-$75 something for 3 bags of Dumor 20% Chick Starter/Grower feed in Michigan.

Here for 3 bags is $60.10.
