& am planning on expanding into goats.
I've been watching everything I can about goats so that I know what I'm getting into.I had goats and it was a nightmare to say the least. I will warn you they are not what most people think they are. Anyone who mentions they want goats I send them this very accurate video:
If you already know all about what is mentioned in the video and are prepared for it - good for you. I sure didn't when I first got goats...
I knew you would.I've been watching everything I can about goats so that I know what I'm getting into.
I'm planning on getting duel purpose goats for meat, & milk.I knew you would.Just know lots of information out there is either outdated (deworming regimens, for example) or doesn't pertain to the climate in the Northeast.
That's one way to get goatsSomeone lost a few goats. We're gonna search for the owner. If No one claims them, then they were probably dumped. Looks like a couple Nubian Does, & a Nigerian Dwarf Buck, or cross of Nigerian.

Yeah, but that was a bird. We put out a few fliers. That's one way to get goats
I had a peacock hanging around for 10 days. I found the owner but he was busy working. The bird was cool for the first week. Then he started picking fights with my old roosters and flirting with the turkey hens. When he started digging in the potatoes and up on my roof , that was enough. I was not sad to not see him move on
