Got a 7 month old Brahma Cockerel. He's in quarantine. Borrowing my aunt's greenhouse as a quarantine area. I know it's ideal to go a month, but I maybe only able to do 2-3 weeks. I might be able to the 4 weeks, but not sure exactly when we'll be moving out.

The Cockerel is skinny, he should be more filled out at that age, & he has a warped breast bone. No idea what his diet was, but he's now getting great nutrition. Gave him vitamin water.

My aunt got him from a breeder. Would expected better breast bone, & condition from a breeder. I'll grab some pictures.

Breeder says disease free, but I'm still taking precautions.

Today is day one of having the new guy, so far nothing illness related has popped up. He's bored. But it's only the first day, so he's gonna be watched further to be sure.

Over the next few days I'll check him for lice. I gotta delouse the other birds as well. I was gonna do that in October, but couldn't find the time for it.
