The chick is really cute! Are you keeping these ones?

The Ayam Ketawas, & the ones that hatch from the Malay eggs I'm keeping.

The EEs, & Barnyard mixes are being hatched for a friend who free ranges on 80 acres.

Well, coloring can be an easy one if you learn the differences. Duckwing has clear chipmunk stripes, eyeliner, & arrow shaped head stripe. (Chick in my profile picture is an example of Duckwing/Wildtype chick down)

Partridge, is similar, but often the pattern is less neat, & lacks an actual head stripe most of the time.


Breed determination, is based on what I own, or have studied. There's usually subtle differences between each chick breed.

The 7th, but one is almost internally pipped, so maybe sooner.
