Myth or fact: water to "cure" broodiness?!?

Put her in a separate pen or cage, plenty of ligth ,away from her nest, and wait 4 to 7 days. It always works in my case.

Thank you everyone. I was reluctant to dip my hen in (cold) water and it seems I was right to be. I'll try the hutch thing or perhaps continue to put her outside a few times a day.
Your advice is very helpful!
