Incendia shrieked. She threw her wings out to block her face, but the blow slammed her hard into the ground. There was a loud crunching noise as her ribs cracked. She tried to stumble away, but the pain inside her stopped her. "W-w-aaah." She looked up, tears racing down her face.

(I know bird's don't cry, I'm thinking of Harry Potter.)

Arvo shrieked in rage, and threw all of her weight down at the mammal. Her beak collided with the creature, and she heard a crunch. (Is this ok with you? It is your character.)

Dysis swooped down to help the winged horse. With a scream of anger, he summoned fire to his claws and dropped toward Arvo.

Arvo jerked herself away when she heard the shriek, but his claw caught her neck.

Grout found Incendia, about at that moment, and was almost hit by the falling phoenix.

Dysis slashed at her, lunging forward with his beak to try to catch the dove's neck in it. His wings flapped around wildly, trying to keep Dysis in the air.

Incendia scrambled backwards. "You!" she wheezed. She called a few flames forth around her, trying to defend herself from the orc.

Arvo rolled around, and her claws slashed a her attacker.

Grout stumbled towards Incendia, and licked his lips. "I'm having birdie stew today!" He screamed.

Dysis screamed as he felt the large bird's talons dig into his wings. Curling them around himself, he aimed his next jet of fire at Arvo's head, mostly just trying to distract her enough to get back into the air.

"Gah!" Incendia hopped backwards with another wince. "Hey! Hey! HELP ME!"
