I want some of your bourbon reds. How do they winter? As we probably won't meet up again until fall.

Hey Tammy,
I am sure I will see you at whatever the next show is, so I can let you know if there are any babies and bring them. My gals layed in the spring and now are laying again. I thought they were done for the year. They winter just fine- very hardy heritage turkeys..................

Yes. Sounds Great. Add me to the list.

Okay, I'm having a brain fart....

Who else had stuff for me??? I have the stuff coming from Crunchie, and I think someone had Ameraucans (Silkies???) for me too? I checked my PM box though and I can't find it, I'm trying to budget since I had to spend $135 at the Vet for the cat (Ouch) I have money set aside for what I reserved, and I don't wanna do something silly like spend it on something else before you find me!

I'm STILL waffling about when to come, I'm just worried about the day old chicks, will they be okay for that long without heat??? I could see if I can rig something up in the car, I think my husband has a converter thing... will it drain my battery though?

I have to sell some stuff before I can buy anything else though, and you guys are going to snatch up all the Silkies, aren't you?

Okay, so I hope that the TIME magazine thing is legit since I just contacted the Philly Inquirer, CBS3 Philadelphia, and ABC6 to suggest Chickenstock as a story idea. The effort is underway in Philly to change the city law to allow chicken keeping within city limits so maybe this will be good press!

Fingers Crossed!

If you are able to get some of the hand warmer packs, they will be fine for the day.. get a few, put 2 or 3 in the box, and save 2 or 3 for when it cools down. I know they sell bigger ones that last longer, but I don't know where to find them exactly..
