N.E. Chickenstock 2011!!!!!! Who's up for it??

baregretchen, your nekkid (and not so nekkids) are sooo cute. im addicted to cresties since my first and am hoping to get into exhibition and breeding them once i get all set up with my own place.
im currently holding out on the right hairy hairless female to enter my life to make my trio complete.

It's 253 miles for me and just over 4 1/2 hours drive. Maybe I'll come down on Saturday, spend the night and go to the show and drive home Monday morning or Sunday afternoon. What time will it start in the morning (sorry, didn't read through all 30 pages to see if this was already posted)?

my cell # and the address is on the first post. Do you think you'd be bringing anything to sell? I can list what you might be bringing on the first post. We will have food, games for kids, raffles, and a nice door prize. Any questions feel free to ask either on this thread or just pm me!

Steph, you can put me down for paper supplies - plates, silverware, cups, napkins. I'm still thinking about what dish to bring.

If anyone is interested in placing an order for specific straight run chicks, let me know. I will be planning my hatch to complete just before the event, so can bring whatever folks need. See my web site for breeds and color varieties. I could also bring hatching eggs if preferred.

Jody,
I would like to place an order for chicks! I have kept my best (IMO) lavs and blacks and would like to expand the pool a bit. Would 10 of each be do'able?

I'm going to bring loaves of organic multigrain bread and fresh made butter. As for critters I can bring Mille Fleur Booted Bantam hatching eggs if anyones interested.

I have only had chickens since last spring, April 1st. I'm not hatching or raising any particular breed. My lead roo favors only 3 of my 10 hens so I wouldn't have much to offer anyway. I can bring nonperishable stuff though, or maybe some homemade bread. With the long ride and a night in a hotel, I'd be afraid of spoilage, although, I could pack a cooler.....Mmm....anything anyone isn't bringing? I have some maple syrup we make but that isn't really chicken related.

There are many things I'd like get though, I'm really looking for de Grubbe bantams but would also love blue Orpingtons, d'Uccles, and hinkjc's Pycheons

Well, Jody is coming to the chickenstock... Send her a PM. I talked with her today and she said nobody had expressed interest in her birds (she had posted for people to let her know what they'd be interested in). I did tell her that I knew a few people were asking about the lav. orpingtons, but that was all I knew of at the time. Like I said, just send her a PM
