Oh crud-wait I have a function for work in CT in May! I wont be able to check the dates until I go to work tomorrow!! I dont thinkits the same time

haha I was just asking my boss when my meeting was-we both know its in May but May what we dont know LOL... oops hes just yelled across hallway its the 10th -12th--were all good for PA!!!!

It's going to be an Olive Egger party! Sounds like at least three of us might have some "extras." I'm planning on hatching a bunch in a few weeks, and Cottagegarden has some really nice ones too. Maybe we can convince her to "make" some more....

haha-I will bring any chick I have that Im not keeping-OK like I said -do we swap birds??? do you sell birds there? do you give them away?? what the norm???
 
There's a bit of everything. I sold a couple for $5 each (even though I paid more for some of them) just to recover some of the costs invested in them.

Another couple just weren't working out in my flock, so I gave them away. As time gets closer I'm sure everyone will have a better idea what is brining, and some trades will probably be lined up.

I know last minute I just brought a couple extra.

It seemed to be a pretty low cost event last year, but if someone has some purebred or valuable chicks, I'm sure others (like me) would be happy to pay market value.
