Sooo, does anybody know the age of the ducks that were raffled? I have 2 of them here, and forgot to ask how old they are. I don't see any feathers yet, so I'm assuming they are fairly young.

: to Steph & Jason for opening up your home to us all! The food was great, the chickens were great & the people were amazing! Had to laugh at the fact that we didnt have chicken to eat tho!

But I had such a great time! Being new to all this chicken stuff I learned a lot too! Put faces with screen names! LOL and brought home LOTS of chicks....then my friend Diana (bugett) had to go and win the bator...So I dont know how I ended up with eggs

Kristen the 3 babies I won from you are doing great! They are in love with the lil EE I "won" too
So now my coop is full, the bator is WAY full and it looks like my hobby has become a full blown obsession!

Why didnt I listen to you all when you said it would happen

Should have seen it coming when I said I was only gonna get 3-4 chicks from the feed store at first, and came home with 8, then went back the next day and was up to 9, and then yesterday, I only brought a small box so I couldnt buy to many, But word got around Gretchen had boxes...and it was all down hill from there! so now my 9 are 18, and my 18 are waiting to see whats gonna hatch out of the 30 plus eggs...

Yeah Im crazy like all of you now too!

Thanks to every body who attended! We had a great time, and I really hope everybody left happy

We already have new ideas for NEXT YEAR (so get ready

), and would absolutely love to host it again... Sorry to all the people I didn't get to talk to at the chickenstock - I can't believe how many people showed up! We are estimating there were 150-200 people in attendance

And, as mentioned "Time" was there taking pics and gathering information, and there will be a story in the magazine, along with a short video on the internet (that was interesting talking to the camera and not being asked questions... We were just trying to force words out of our mouths for that part

)

Hope everybody really had a great time, and I sincerely thank all of you who helped in one way or another!
