Nail Clipping

Hello, this is my first flock and they are not free ranged. They are 13 weeks old. Do I need to clip their nails? My husband finished their run and it’s on limestone gravel

When they scratch around they will wear down.

They should wear down naturally in scratching and digging dust bowls. But you could snip the tips on any excessively long and sharp claws.

I’d give them some time on the stones , also add a small log with bark or a brick or two. I’ve only ever clipped my silkies nails because they are princesses
