Nails - How long is too long?

Ok, I tried... I’ve looked online; I’ve looked on this site...
For the most part, I find tons of info on how to trim nails. But I’m looking for the “when.”
I can go around and take all kinds of pics of my flock, but what I’m hoping to find is an article or link to show just what healthy nails look like vs overgrown nails.
Is there some place with some example pics for people to compare? I’ve had other people ask as well, and I’d love to know for myself and to point others in the right direction.

I'll try to get pictures of good versus overgrown. Do you need good and over grown images of spurs too?

I think I have the spurs down... my guy is only a year old. I think it’ll be a while... maybe. Lol.

It could be. I finally have accepted my WFB Spanish bantams needs his outer layers removed. Haven't touched them in like 8 years, be bummed to do it.

He's handsome for sure, his tail is complete cr@p though. All the feathers are broken off about an inch high
