Hopefully someone will contact you. If they don't, and you get a broody or fire up the incubator, I'd be happy to send you a few eggs. They will be EE, with a fifty fifty chance of NN though... All will lay light green eggs.

Monty- I'd like to know too. I was a member maybe 15, 20 years ago was getting newsletters.. then it just stopped. Tried getting in contact to find out why or if the club was even still running.. no replies at all. I remember the name Ed Hayworth from back then.. can't remember if he was another member or on the board.

Nava, sorry the show experience was not more positive. Like KKH said you did good by getting the breed involved in the show!

Farmer Andy- good suggestion in breeding your Neck(can't believe I never thought of this as a name) if you can't find another turken close to you. She sounds like a real good hen.. It would work if you chose a large rooster with good attitude and bred him with her. Even better if he came fron line of large egg producers to keep the egg size up. Egg size goes down much easier than up it seems. You would get at least half Neckitos. Save the naked necked ones to start a breeding line.. it's a dominant gene which means if it's gone, it's gone forever unless you bring in another naked neck bird.

Monty, I hope you get a hold of somebody, I think that the NN fad died but there is still some of us that enjoy these breed very much.
I've been to 2 shows and I have not seen a NN yet, I have to find some whites at least, HELP!!!!!! if any one knows where I can get them let me know, thanks.

well, NN cockerel did nothing, I asked the judge what it was that he had seen and he said that it was a broken feather and he could not remember the rest couse I got to talk to him on Sunday...
...and there was no other NN's I even asked about a NN club and they could not find anything , is the NN club gone?

Hi! He should have been awarded a prize for being the only Naked Neck there!
I bet he did more than 'nothing' and got a lot of attention. He IS a pretty boy.
