I'm thinking of adding some Turkens to my flock and I have some questions. Is this a breed, or is it kind of like Frizzles? If you breed a Naked Neck to a normal chicken, do you get Naked Necks in the offspring? And if so, are there Leghorn-like-in-build Turkens, and others that are meatier Turkens?

Yes, you can breed a naked neck to a non-naked neck and get naked neck (and some regular) offspring. I've mated my turken roo to most of my girls, including leghorns, to get desired traits from both parents. My favorite combo is Easter Egger x turken, they lay an olive colored egg and have nice, pretty, markings. In my opinion, at least.

Some people on here also have turkens that breed true.

A couple of my Turkens have green legs and I am hoping that they are crossed with Easter Eggers! I hadn't thought about the olive eggs!

Here's the egg that she laid today, next to one of my white leghorn eggs for comparison.

Pretty hen, Superchemicalgirl.

Could I get some comments from the experts? Turkens and NN are not the same thing exactly, correct? Turkens have a pea comb and turkey wattles, NNs have single combs and separated wattles. Can anyone clarify this? I know the SOP only recognizes single combed NNs. Thanks.
